The youngest inhabitants of the commune have at their disposal six kindergartens. There are also six junior and two upper junior schools. In September 2002 a secondary grammar school in Gołuchów is to begin holding classes.

           School and commune libraries with approximately 70 000 volumes satisfy most of the readers' needs. The libraries organise various cultural events: reading, art and recitation competitions, fairy tale evenings and lessons in libraries; they aim to inspire literary creativity as well.


           In 1996 Workshops of Occupational Therapy have been established in Kuchary. Twenty-two disabled people participate in the activities and they have at their disposal state-of-the-art equipment.


           Music loving inhabitants of the commune have an opportunity to perform in either of the two folk dance and song groups: Tursko i Żychlinioki.

          Im In 1997 the Choir of the Gołuchów Commune was established. It consists of schoolchildren representing many schools.






           The castle in Gołuchów is famed for many cultural events held there: theatre performances, concerts of chamber music and jazz.

          The castle hosted: Wojciech Karolak with Jarosław ¦mietana Band, Stanisław Sojka, Krystyna Prońko, Old Metropolitan Jazz Band, Adam Makowicz, Wojciech G±sowski. One of the annual events is a festival of old music Chanterelle.

Other cultural events include: Integrative Children's Day, Indian Fiesta - a gathering of North American Indian enthusiasts, International Football Cup for Boys held under the auspices of the European Union and St. John's Night Festivity.
